ABOUT US

WE ARE…

...a mission of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. We are about Christ. We are here to praise His name. We are here to reflect His loving grace - to be His hands, His feet and His voice - ministering to, teaching and discipling His people, faithfully according to His Word. We are an outreach mission of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

WHAT WE BELIEVE...
We are a Christ centered, Bible-based, Christian congregation. We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, and it reveals to us salvation in God’s Son, Jesus Christ.

We believe in the one true God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe humankind, created perfectly, went against God's will and brought sin into the world.

Since then, all people have inherited that sin and are born sinful. We believe people cannot save themselves by their good works.

We believe the Good News that, in order to save us, God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world. Although fully God, Jesus became fully human to fulfill God's Law for us.

He died on a cross to pay the penalty that our sins deserved, and rose from the dead so we might have eternal life.

He ascended into heaven and will come again to take all believers back with Him.

God's Word teaches us that we are saved only by the grace of God, as a free gift, through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that, because of Jesus’ death, God declares a person righteous and forgiven.

We believe this faith in Jesus is a gift of God, given by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe God uses His Word and the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper to apply His grace and forgiveness to us.

It is our privilege to proclaim to people everywhere that Christ is the world’s only hope, that through Him peace, forgiveness and eternal life is realized.

Knowing this life and hope in Jesus there can be new joy and healing in our homes and families.

In our worship, we gather together around God's Word and Sacraments to be strengthened by His Holy Spirit as a family of God’s people.
